DaVoComm Services, Inc. was founded in March, 2002 and is based in Madison County, Georgia.

Owner, Bruce Patterson is retired from BELLSouth with 38 years experience. 22 of those years were in the Special Services area with responsibility for installation and maintenance of alarm circuits, sub-rate and T1 data, voice trunks, 911 systems, etc. The last 4 years were as Manager of a Special Services group with responsibility for 13 technicians in Athens, Elberton, Madison, Eatonton, and Covington.

As an employee of BELLSouth, Bruce installed the first Enhanced 911 Center in Georgia at Athens/Clarke Co in 1985.  Until retirement he had either total or partial responsibility for 13 other 911 Centers across Northeast Georgia.  He was one of the lead installers of approximately 1000 voice, data, and broadcast circuits for the two venues at the University of Georgia, 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.  He was also responsible for other critical date projects in the Athens area with 200 or more voice trunks and/or data circuits involved.
